The Executive Educational Series for general contractors goes beyond a one-time training session. It strengthens internal alignment, reinforces public accountability expectations, and helps teams navigate the governance and documentation environment surrounding public school construction.
The series is particularly well-suited for:

Each session is designed to provide practical, immediately applicable insights for contractor teams operating in DSA-regulated environments.
This foundational session helps general contractors navigate the district governance and accountability environment that shapes public school construction projects. Participants will gain insight into how district leadership, Citizens' Bond Oversight Committees (CBOCs), public scrutiny, and compliance expectations influence communication, documentation, project visibility, and decision-making throughout a project's life cycle.
Our second session helps general contractors understand how Proposition 39 and public accountability expectations influence project delivery, communication, and documentation. Participants will learn how district reporting obligations, expenditure transparency, and public scrutiny affect contractor responsibilities and why disciplined practices help strengthen credibility and reduce avoidable friction.
This third session focuses on the documentation and reporting discipline required in DSA-regulated environments. Participants will explore how organized records, clear communication, and consistent documentation practices support stronger project administration, reduce confusion, and help contractor teams operate more effectively within regulated public school construction settings.
Our fourth session highlights common risk areas that create confusion, misalignment, or exposure for both contractors and districts. Participants will learn to identify recurring trouble spots in communication, documentation, reporting, and project visibility, while strengthening practices that reduce risk and support better alignment among project stakeholders.
The concluding session brings together the core themes of governance awareness, documentation discipline, communication, and public accountability to help contractor teams build stronger, more trusted working relationships with districts. Participants will learn how trust, consistency, and professionalism can strengthen project alignment, improve district confidence, and create a meaningful competitive edge in public school construction environments.
